Senior Software Engineer
Since 2009, Victoria has developed and maintained the main Control System and diagnostics for Gemini, working closely with the link scientists to provide the capabilities and laser data required by users for each experiment. She is also IT manager for the PCs in the Laser Areas and Target Areas. In her spare time, Victoria is the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory historian and archivist.
Research Interests: The history of the Harwell Campus and Rutherford Appleton Laboratory from 1946 to the 1980s.
