David is the Vulcan 20-20 work package manager for plasma diagnostics and data management. This focuses on the diagnostics suite that will be available for users of Vulcan 20-20 and the management of data generated during experiments. David is the Gemini and Orion lasers Facility Access Panel secretary, managing both the organisation of proposal calls to these facilities and the Vulcan Dark Period support programme, which supports UK user experiments at external facilities during the Vulcan 20-20 project.
David’s research interests, in collaboration with CLF users, are currently fast electron transport in overdense plasmas and electro-magnetic pulse generation from high intensity laser interactions.
