Kevin obtained his PhD in 2015 in laser plasma-instabilities (LPI) developing in Inertial Confinement Fusion experiments from École Polytechnique and CEA. Then, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in several institutions in France, the UK and China, continuing his work on experimental characterisation and mitigation of LPIs. This included stimulated Raman side-scattering and back-scattering, two-plasmon decay and crossed beam energy transfer.
Kevin joined the Experimental Science Group in 2024 as the work package manager for the Vulcan 20-20 Target Area 1. His role consists of the design, implementation, and commissioning of the several components of the forthcoming high intensity experimental area.
