Ross Powell

Ross did his PhD in semiconductor characterisation at the University of Nottingham. Following this, he worked in geophysics seismic data processing for two years. Ross worked for a company that manufactured fibre lasers for seven years, where he worked on MIR supercontinuum generation and high-power lasers for aerospace and defence. He is currently working on a fibre laser front end for the Vulcan 20-20 laser long pulse beamlines.
