Adeel Shafqat

Adeel is a fourth-year Robotics Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London, currently undertaking an industrial placement with the Target Fabrication Group. His work focuses on improving robotic pick-and-place systems for the precision assembly of micro-targets used in high-repetition-rate laser experiments. He also supports thin-film material characterisation, 3D CAD design, and additive manufacturing to develop custom fixtures and tooling for target fabrication.
