Partha obtained his PhD in physical chemistry from the Department of Chemistry of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2017. He gained postdoctoral experience with Professor Sanford Ruhman at the Institute of Chemistry of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During his postdoctorate, he used sub-10 femtosecond pulses to investigate molecular photochemistry and photophysics using transient absorption and impulsive Raman spectroscopy.
