Oliver Finlay

Gemini and EPAC Link Scientist

Oliver completed his PhD at Daresbury Laboratory on “Electron Beam Manipulation in Terahertz Frequency Radiation-Driven Structures” in 2021 and has worked with the Gemini team since. As a link scientist, Oliver’s primary role is supporting external users of the Gemini facility. He is also involved in EPAC laser wakefield accelerator design, including laser-plasma interaction simulations, gas target design, and diagnostic design.

Research Interests: Laser wakefield acceleration, gas target design for laser-plasma accelerators, simulating laser-plasma accelerators
